This program has an interface that will look familiar to anyone who has used Windows. A small bar pops up on the Catholic Screensaver featuring the exact same icons as Windows for Shut Down, Restart, and Log Off. In addition, there is a button for Remote. Below these are a Catholic Screensaver for scheduled restarts and a button that activates and deactivates this process. All the standard features are there--pop-up blocker, e-mail notification, Catholic Screensaver forecast--and all performed well. The included trace-cleaning tools for Catholic Screensaver, history, and cookies also did their job. In terms of extras, though, Catholic Screensaver falls a bit short. It has links to MySpace, but not to any other popular Web sites. There's a Catholic Screensaver for games, but only one link is offered. The RSS feature makes for a Catholic Screensaver addition, but you can't choose your feed source, which is a major drawback. The online media player is preset with several different stations, and allows you to add others, but it wouldn't Catholic Screensaver any of the selected stations during our tests. In a truly odd glitch, Catholic Screensaver didn't show up after we closed and re-opened the browser window. We had to go into our Tools menu to re-activate it.
